Mapleshade is a scarred, fluffy, stock tortieshell and white molly with thick, spiky fur and glaring amber eyes.

Mapleshade was a ThunderClan lightning spy under Oakstar's leadership, formerly under Seedstar's leadership. She was born to Dawnfeather and an unknown wanderer as Maplekit in ThunderClan. Dawnfeather later had two other litters of kits, Nettlebreeze and later Flamenose. Maplekit was later apprenticed to Bloomheart by the new name of Maplepaw. After heer apprenticeship, Maplepaw was later promoted to a full warrior as Mapleshade. Soon after graduating, Mapleshade had an affair with a RiverClan tom known as Appledusk. The two had three kits, who ended up drowning after Mapleshade's affair came out and she and her kits were exiled. After a mass killing spree, Mapleshade was ultimately murdered by Perchpaw.
