Scorched Flames is a Warriors rewrite that originally started as a hypothetical universe for me to expand on different characters and their relationships with other characters. However, I got deeply engrossed in wanting to tell a seperate, more structured story to what is known as canon. Therefore I slowly started to build further away from the canon material and expand on different plot points, worldbuilding, and Warriors' overall story elements.

So in summary, this series was never intended to be a full on project like I have it as now. Scorched Flames is also a series that can sometimes change rapidly, and has been through multiple versions. Because of this, some pages on this website may be slightly outdated and/or have incorrect information regarding the current state of the rewrite. I try my best to keep it updated and consistent but it is only me working on this site!

Currently, this site is quite bare and not a lot of pages are filled out yet. I just need to find the time to write things out instead of continuing to use messy dot points! There are still a good handful of pages that have a decent amount of information, and if there is something you are curious about that is not on here, feel free to send an ask in any of my socials listed here!

What is the main premise of Scorched Flames?

As mentioned above, Scorched Flames never intended to be one of my bigger passion projects, only a collection of personal headcanons. But to answer your question, it doesn't exactly have a set premise that affects the series as whole. There is not really any main "What if?" question that Scorched Flames as a whole presents. Every arc has it's own changes, some changes being more major than others.

However, there are certain story elements I do enjoy putting more focus on, often ones that are considered to be problems within the canon material of Warrior Cats. These include, but are not limited to: missing story beats and/or plot holes, retcons, the family tree as a whole and the lack of worldbuilding, memorable side characters and character relationships. Of course, these are not the only problems that are presented in Warriors, but they are a few of the more prominent ones.

Some of these elements may have more focus than others in this rewrite. For example, I am a huge enjoyer of character analysis and relationships between those characters that are not solely romantic. I try to balance them out, but because of this, those two elements may possibly shine brighter compared to other aspects.
