Dovewing is a small, fluffy, pale gray cat with four tufted ears, darker points and unusual eyes with a mix of blue and green.

Dovewing was born to Whitewing and Ashfur as Dovekit alongside her sister Ivykit in ThunderClan. After her father Ashfur's death, Whitewing began courting Birchfall, who soon became Dovekit's stepfather. Dovekit was later apprenticed to Lionblaze by the new name of Dovepaw. After her apprenticeship, Dovepaw was later promoted to a full warrior as Dovewing.

After the events of the Kin, Dovewing was prophecised to run away with her unborn kits. She lived with the Guardians for a period of time before moving to ShadowClan to be with Tigerstar II. Dovewing had 4 kits, Shadowsight and Lightleap as well as Birchfeather and Rowankit later on. After breaking up with Tigerstar II moons later, Dovewing made the choice to become a daylight warrior, spending some of her time as a housecat away from the stress of the Clans.

Dovewing is caring and empathetic as well as devoted to those she cares about and being outspoken about her beliefs and disdain for Clan norms. Dovewing deeply cares for her kin but can sometimes be too overprotective, even with her good intents. TBA

Omen of the Stars: Power of Three

Dovekit and Ivykit are born to Whitewing and Ashfur, a result of an accidental courting. Before the kits eyes had even opened, Ashfur was struck down by an unknown force, killing him. After this event and during the middle of Dovekit's kithood, her and Ivykit became inseperably close, always demanding to stay together. Whitewing and Birchfall began to court one another during this time period, ending with Birchfall becoming Dovekit and Ivykit's stepfather.

After the death of one of Dovekit's Clanmates, Hollyleaf, Dovekit can sometimes hear strange sounds, almost like a cat wanderering underground. Dovekit frequently asks the Clan's seer, Jayfeather, about this, causing clear unease with the older tom.

Dovewing is currently nursing her second litter, Birchkit and Rowankit. When the two kits catch Greencough, Dovewing is distraught, even more so when Rowankit passes due to the sickness. Soon after, when Tigerstar II raids RiverClan, Dovewing, with the help of support around her, decides to break it off with Tigerstar II, realising how much damage he has done to her and her kin in the past. Tigerstar II is furious when this occurs, threatening Dovewing but being told of by his deputy, Cloverfoot, and mother as well as former leader, Tawnyshade. Dovewing is frightened by this and confides in Briarlight, a friend from her former Clan. Briarlight and Dovewing grow closer over time, with eachother's childhood crushes coming back to light. The pair end up together, a new, peaceful start for Dovewing.

During a Gathering, WindClan's healer apprentice Whistlepaw shares a dream from StarClan, informing the Clans a patrol needs to find out the meaning of the dream. Dovewing's son, Shadowsight, offers, but Dovewing shuts him down out of fear for her son, offering to go instead. Dovewing talks with Ivypool for the first time in seasons, ending with a final apology from Ivypool. Dovewing isn't ready to accept her sister's apology yet after the damage she had done. When Ivypool and Icewing visit StarClan, they see Dovewing's adoptive grandma, Ferncloud, looking after Rowankit. This contents Dovewing that her late son is being looked after.
